We celebrated Jeff’s 40th birthday on March 3rd – 7th in Virginia and Washington. Jamison and I flew into Virginia and stayed at Jeff’s place where we got to see the girls and Sarah. We got to hang out with the kids at night and the morning the next day.
After brunch with the girls, we drove from Virginia to Washington DC where we would pick up Mike from the airport. After picking up Mike, we went to Costco to get some drinks and then checked into our hotel at the Intercontinental. We then went to dinner at Gyu Shige, about 25 minutes away from the Wharf area where we were staying.
The next day, we toured all the famous spots in Washington. We ended the night with at a Michelin-star Omakase place called Sushi Kakazawa
