I’m testing out Thesis nootropics to see if they work to help with focus. I’ll be logging each day that I’m on the starter kit to see if they actually work.
Clarity
Day 1 – Clarity

Day Before: Ate at Shun and had 2 cocktails that were sweet.

- 1:25pm – Slight headache after taking a couple of sips of coffee. Trying to drink more water. Feeling focused almost like the feeling of Adderall.
- 3:45pm – Ate a late lunch. I had soba noodles with beef slices. 2 sour candy and 3 dark chocolate covered pretzels. I’m feeling a little tired and food coma is at a level 5 out of 10. I don’t feel like I have very good clarity. My coffee is also half way down. I’m also drinking water pretty often.

- 3:24pm – Ate Soba noodles with beef/pork slices. Also ate a bit of mint icecream and Netflix and Chill Ice cream. Feeling tired now. Before this I felt pretty focused.
- 5:12pm – I feel like I’m getting more into focused mode. I think food coma throws the effects of the nootropics out of whack.
Day 3 – Clarity

- Skipped a day on Sunday
- 1:31pm – Just finished up a zoom call. I can feel a similar feeling of focus as I did with a small dosage of 5mg of Adderall. I do feel slightly agitated/impatient.
- 3:30pm – Late lunch – Burnt rice porridge with salmon/chili oil, Korean steamed egg, and seaweed.
- 5:49pm – I feel pretty good energy and sustained focus today.
Day 4 – Clarity

Food: Ate Lasagna with a slice of sourdough bread around 12:30pm. Feeling a little food coma but still functioning okay.

- 2:18pm – Not feeling the greatest. Don’t have much clarity. It could be from lack of sleep but I feel disconnected.
- 4:39pm – Started to feel a little better. Focus is coming in. I think it was part of making a decision that freed up my mental blocks. I decided to choose speed over perfection.

Food: Ate 3 XLB and 1 sourdough bread with ricotta and fig lemon jam. For lunch I had steak, 2 eggs, chiu chow chili oil, spinach, green beans and some mixed medley of grains.

Day Before: Ate birria with small tacos from trader joes with 1 piece of sourdough bread. Also had 1 cup of red wine.
