Florida and Walt Disney World

Florida trip finally came about. I’m writing this on December 30th even though I took the trip about 3 weeks ago. I thought I was going to have more time writing about the trip but I was moving and exploring so much I didn’t have as much downtime as expected. In all honesty, I enjoyed just relaxing. I feel like I’m still burnt out but just having some time to relax and do nothing was sort of amazing.

This won’t be a long post. It’ll be mainly getting pictures of the trip up. I thought I was going to get a lot more out of the entire experience than I expected but with how much of Florida I explored, there wasn’t much time to really unwind. It was a bit hectic even though I had so much time to be by myself. One thing I did figure out is that I don’t want to live in Florida.

The vibe and weather in Miami, Tampa, and Orlando aren’t something I think I would enjoy. Maybe I’m much too much of a Cali guy, but it’s hard beating the food scene, weather, and vibe of California. It’s hard to appreciate how good it is here if you’ve never explored the majority of the States.

Orlando – Walt Disney World

This was one for the books. It was amazing seeing all my closest friends and their families together. All the kids basically were born around the same time and grew up together. Now that everyone is living in different states, it’s hard for everyone to get together. I’m super glad we were able to do this while their kids are old enough to remember something like this.

It was crazy being around so many kids for four days but it was absolutely worth it. I love these kids and it was worth it all. I wanted to do this because it feels like it will be the last time I’ll be single uncle Esteban. Hopefully next time, I’ll have a gf/wife and I’ll be on my way to having my own kiddos.
