The end of Yellowstone
October 30th, 2021 was my official last day at Yellowstone. The new owner took over. I helped open the store a couple of days after that just to help him out since he was still working his job at the time. But now I’m officially out. It’s no longer my store. The new lease agreement between the landlord and the new owner will be signed and finalized this week.
It’s been a relief finally being able to sell the store. I’m no longer trapped there. It was a good run but I was mentally over it about six months ago. The business is in great hands and the new owner and I are actually great friends. I’m excited for him and what he’s going to do with it.
That chapter of my life is almost over. I’m just waiting to finalize the lease agreement and close out the business in the books. It’s been good. It was definitely a blessing at the time. My goal with the store was to get as much capital as possible to put into the crypto market and thankfully that worked out.
Trip to Arizona
My brother came into town from Spain and he’ll be staying here for about a month to hang out. He’s currently living in Spain with his wife and it’s been hard traveling with all the Covid lockdown BS. We wanted to do a family trip while everyone was together since it’s pretty rare. I know that I’ll be moving soon so I personally wanted to take my mom on a little trip before I did that.
We opted to do a short drive over to Palm Springs and then to Arizona to meet up with my sister and her husband. We visited Sedona and the Grand Canyon. It was a fun trip and I’m glad we were able to do it. I’m not sure when’s the next time we’ll all be together like this again.
Lasik + Invisilign
Now that the trip is over, I’ll be getting Lasik done on the 19th. I just had an eye check-up to see if I was qualified for it and everything was a go. I should be seeing clearly without contacts after the 19th. Once I finish Lasik, I plan to finalize my Invisalign to fix my underbite.
What’s Next?
That’s the big question. I’m honestly a little lost. I know that the plan is to take some time off to travel and figure out what the plans are now but I’ve been in a little bit of a funk. I think it has to do with how the Crypto market is behaving. If I’m honest, it’s stressful. I have a decent-sized position in the market and if things go south, it’ll throw off my plans. I’ve been planning as if we’ll have a bull market for at least December/January. I’m not saying the bull market is over but I know that markets can turn pretty quickly. If things continue to move in the direction I planned, then I’ll probably not have to worry about work again and have funds to invest in other projects that I want to start. If it doesn’t, I’ll probably still have some decent funds but nothing that wouldn’t allow me to start a new life and focus on things I really want to do.
