I did my interview with Sweetgreens HR today. I was pretty nonchalant about it because I looked up the delivery operations and logistics associate role on Glassdoor and it said the pay was only $15/hr. It was pretty disappointing so I wasn’t really interested in the role but I did the interview just to get a better idea about the company and role.
It turns out the pay on Glassdoor is incorrect or the HR person got it wrong. I was pretty impressed by the number they threw out. It was comparable to the pay at CSS. The company is in Culver City which makes it a bit inconvenient but if the pay is good, the role is a fit, company culture is legit, and the team I’m working with is on point, I’m with it. I looked up the Head of Digital Experience, whom I’d be working under, and he seems like a legit guy. We’ll see if I move on to the next interview.
I saw this post on Linkedin and thought it was accurate. This is exactly why I left CSS.
Prototyping Unwage
I’m currently working on Unwage. It’s a fun side project that has the potential to turn into something bigger. I’m creating a MVP right now. I’m still thinking about the value prop and also the KPI to determine market viability.
