February 4th, 2019 – CSS Interview 2

I finished my second round of the interview process with CloudKitchens (CSS). I was felt pretty defeated after completing it because I didn’t feel my responses were clicking especially after my brother reviewed my answers and he didn’t even seem to think it was any good. I did take his feedback and improved a bit on it but I kept the rest of it intact. I was stressing about it for about 20 minutes in total defeat after leaving my brother’s place but then I felt a sense of peace come over me. I wasn’t worried anymore. I just left it in the Lord’s hands.

Fortunately, I got an email back saying that the team had positive reactions to my assessment. I’ll now be moving on to the third interview piece which is a live assessment of my take home test. They want me to present my assessment and then take a technical/analytical test afterward. I’m a bit nervous but at the end of the day, I’m going to prepare the best I can and then just enjoy the process. If the Lord open’s the door, that would be amazing because the company and role is beyond what I could have imagined.

I do the interview this coming Friday, February 8th, at 2pm. I’m nervous but I’m excited at the same time. The location is right next to my old building at Wedbush, which is interesting. I’ll definitely feel more comfortable with the location since I’ve been there so many times.
