Los Angeles – Day 3

I woke up early in the morning today. It seems that jet lag isn’t affecting me as bad as I was expecting. I went to get a new battery for my car since the battery died but thankfully I still had warranty on it so they gave me a new one for free after someone forgot to charge my battery to see if it was still working.

While waiting for them to initially test my battery, I went to a Starbucks at Target to get on my computer. I stayed for about an hour and then went to check on it. They didn’t actually test it so they gave me the new one under warranty.

My car was covered in dirt since it’s just been sitting for the past four months so I went to get gas and a car wash. Then I went to another Starbucks to do some work. I finished up my past two days worth of blogs that I didn’t do when I got back to the States since I wanted to catch up some sleep.

I’ve also been thinking about my next steps. I think I’ll need to stay with my mom for a couple of months before going back to San Diego. I spoke with Aeron and I’ll have a meeting with him on January 1st and then we’ll be meeting with two of the traders to discuss market strategy and target market. My main objective is to see where we are with things and the direction of the company.

I headed back and grabbed some pizza from 786 degrees. It’s my favorite pizza spot right next to my mom’s place and has 5 stars with over 1000+ reviews. It’s a small hole in the wall but the pizza is the best I’ve had.

I’m still eating terrible since there is still left overs from Christmas. I even had In N Out for lunch. I plan to get back onto a healthy regiment soon. I ate the entire pizza and knocked out from food coma. I got out around 8pm and went to the gym. Afterward, I came back and cleaned up the room my dad was staying in which was initially my old room at my mom’s house. It took until 5am and I think I just messed up my sleeping schedule again.

Tomorrow I’ll hit the golf course with Jason then hang out with my brother at night. I’m still thinking about next steps but I’m focused on not worrying about it. So many things can change that it’s impossible to factor in all the variables to make decisions too far out in advance.
