My internet wasn’t working on my phone, and the wifi at the house wasn’t working either so I couldn’t post yesterday. Yesterday was our last day in Ko Lanta, and it was perfect. We took the day to explore the difference beaches starting with Bamboo beach. We heard it was the best beach on the island but when we got there it was too quiet for our liking. We stayed for a little and then headed over to the other beaches.
We ended up staying at Prae An beach. It’s become our favorite beach on Ko Lanta island. The beach is filled with restaurants and resorts. We came during the beginning of the busy season, so there weren’t that many tourists but it’s the most popular tourist beach. We hung out there most of the day and then ended it with dinner at Salty Fish and Shanti Shanti. We wanted one more meal at Shanti Shanti but our friend owns Salty Fish, and it’s right next to Shanti. We tried sneaking by, but it didn’t work so we went to Salty Fish first and got some appetizers and drinks. Then we headed over to Shanti and had some dessert and their seafood glass noodle dish which is our favorite.
We headed back to the house but passed it and instead accidentally ending up at the night market in Sala Dan. We checked it out for a bit and then head home to pack up and get ready to leave. I’ll end this here with pictures of the day. Overall, Ko Lanta ended up being a winner. It started terrible but ended up great.
