Bangkok – Day 20

I didn’t feel this was a very productive day. I had my normal breakfast, and I did laundry in the morning and didn’t head out of the condo until 1 pm. I booked my tickets for when my buddy Jason gets into Bangkok. We’ll be staying in Bangkok, then exploring Chiang Mai, and then over to Phuket. We’ll also be visiting Vietnam and Hong Kong when we leave, but we haven’t booked the tickets yet.

I went over to Starbucks and worked from there until about 6 pm. I had a small dinner at a restaurant and then headed back to the place. I’ve been heavily contemplating what I should be focusing on for work. I feel a bit lost and feeling a bit anxious.

To get my mind from over thinking things and becoming more anxious, I went to the gym and did a quick leg workout. The gym equipment is busted so I did free weights, but they only have up to 30 lbs. I also finally used the pool and did some laps. I’m learning how to breathe and relax better while doing the freestyle and breaststroke. I’ve noticed it’s made a huge difference.

After swimming, I was still feeling anxious and deciding to watch a show to get my mind off things. New series for Daredevil came out, so I opted for that. I also made shabu from home. It’s such an easy meal to make and a great healthy option.  Now it’s time for bed and a little bit of decompressing. I’ve been working on clearing my mind through breathing techniques which I’ve found helpful.

Off to bed.
