Bangkok – Day 15

Here’s to a new location! I’m ecstatic about this new place in Bangkok. I moved north about 20 minutes west of the Chao Praya River where many of the higher end hotels. It’s so coincidental that the place where I got lost after coming back from Asiatique River Walk was directly across from where I’m staying at now. What small odds. The room is incredible and exactly what I want. It’s a pretty big space with two incredible views. One from the bedroom and the other from the patio/living room area.

First thing I did after getting settled in is set up my workstation. I honestly love my whole computer set up. It makes me excited to work and makes it feel like having a home computer setup everywhere I go.
They have a decent gym too.
And a pool!
I have a 180-degree view of the entire city from my balcony. I love it.

After getting settled in, I went to explore my immediate area. I’m happy to report that there is everything I need here! There is a full grocery store across the street, coffee shops a-plenty, massages, and restaurants. Now, I can get back to eating a bit healthier and being able to walk around to places I want to go instead of spending money Grab-ing it everywhere.

After getting a good feel for the area, I had to take advantage of the numerous massage places around my place. I got an hour shoulder, neck, and back massage. It was good, but I almost feel like the lady beat me up. She was strong, which I like, but when she massaged my scalp, I feared she was going to rip off all my hair. Except for the aggressive scalp massage, it was a B- massage. It was good, not great.

I then headed over to get some groceries at a small shopping center down the street that has restaurants and a grocery store. The shopping center has fresh packaged fruits and veggies. It’s like I’m back in Chiang Mai and I couldn’t be more satisfied. I grabbed my groceries and then headed back to the place. I think I’m still feeling the sleep adjusted because I’m tired already. I figured I’d get to bed early and start my day as early as possible.

View from the shopping center.

That’s it today!
